Synthesis Of Novel 14 Substituted 12 - 1170 Words
Synthesis of novel 1,4-substituted 1,2,3-triazoles by water-soluble salen-Cu(II) catalyzed azideââ¬âalkyne cycloaddition in water Abstract A series of new 4-(1-azidoethyl)-1,1 -biphenyl derivatives were synthesized by the metal-free reductive reactions of biphenyl tosylhydrazones and sodium azide. The resulting biphenyl derivatives were further reacted with aryl acetylenes to afford novel 1,4-substituted 1,2,3-triazoles in 41ââ¬â94% yield by water-soluble salen-Cu(II) catalyzed azideââ¬âalkyne cycloaddition in water in the absence of any organic solvent or phase transfer agent. Moreover, the catalytic system exhibited wide substrate scope and high functional-group tolerances. Introduction 1,2,3-Triazoles represent an important structural motif frequently found in organic chemistry [1], biological science [2], medicinal chemistry [3], and material science [4]. 1,2,3-triazoles and their derivatives have been extensively studied and have been proven of pharmacological importance owing to their heterocyclic core skeleton.[5] Thus, the synthesis of novel 1,2,3-triazoles derivatives by an efficient method has attracted considerable attention. Over the past few decades, the Cu(I)-catalyzed azideââ¬âalkyne cycloaddition reaction of organic azides as 1,3-dipoles and alkynes, also known as click chemistry, has become a useful and powerful tool for the facile formation of 1,2,3-triazoles with high yield, good regioselectivity, and high functional-group tolerances.[6ââ¬â8] Accordingly, the design andShow MoreRelatedSynthesis Of Some Novel Pyrido Essay1556 Words à |à 7 PagesSynthesis of some novel Pyrido [2, 3-d] pyrimidine derivatives as potential antimicrobial and an ticancer agents Mohamed Abd Ellatif Chemistry department, Faculty of science, Damanhour University, Egypt Email: mf_mohanad@yahoo.com mohamedabdellatif@dmu.edu.eg Abstract: The reactions of 2-amino-3-cyano-4.6-diarylpyridines with formic acid, glacial acetic acid, benzoyl chloride, formamide and acetamide afforded 5-(5-substitutedfuran-2-yl)-7-(4-substitutedphenyl)-3H-pyrido[2,3-d] Pyrimidin-4-oneRead MoreUltrasound Accelerated Syntheis of Novel Benzimidazole Derived Chalcones as à ±-Glucosidases Inhibitor Agents2046 Words à |à 8 PagesObjective: Present research work is carried out for rapid development of some biological active new heterocyclic moieties. The Glucosylceramide synthase (GCS) enzyme catalyzes the first important step in glycolipid biosynthesis. It facilitates the transfer of glucose to ceramide. [1] It is known as a branch point enzyme and also it directs the synthesis of cerebrosides and gangliosides. Recently, GCS has shown in the cytotoxic response of cancer cells to chemotherapy. In particular, it has been recognized that the toxic response of cells to chemotherapy is impaired when GCS activity is elevatedRead MoreHow Does Glycolysis Is Essential For Trypanosoma Brucei ( Tb )1834 Words à |à 8 Pagesidentification of several distinct differences in amino acid residues in and around the substrate binding sites.
